At Lemonade we help women under 60 in Yorkshire with terminal ovarian cancer to tick off their bucket list wishes.

Our group of “Lemonadies” set up Lemonade in 2019 in tribute to Vicki Aldwin, who was 32 when she died, 16 months after her diagnosis of SCCOHT, a rare form of ovarian cancer.
Vicki’s spirit and strength throughout her diagnosis meant that, despite the unimaginable sadness, she had a wonderful last few months of her life. Our fundraising efforts raised over £15,000 and Vicki managed to fulfil many of her bucket list wishes. Among the experiences was a visit to the set of Netflix’s “The Dark Crystal”, a red-carpet screening of “Les Estivants” at the Venice Film Festival and a family trip to Disneyland, Paris – despite bitter November temperatures. She also visited her favourite city, Venice, for one last time and was invited to a complimentary show by comedian Katherine Ryan.
This happened because people – friends and strangers alike – came together to organise these once-in-a-lifetime experiences for her.
Now, we want to do the same for other women.
